kicked off with us desperately trying to catch up on everything
that's been going on for the past several months. We read some of
your letters we've gotten, give advice on how NOT to be a good
player, talk about our Vile Darkness D&D game, and an update on
our 7th Sea game, with advice on running an Epic game, improvising
intrigue, and more.
Season 1
Episode 16 - We're finally back after our Big Move to the New Studio! This show brings us back up to date with reviews of Evil Genius and Sid Meier's Pirates computer games, a review of the Return of the King Extended Edition DVD and The Phantom of the Opera. We also talk about Kung Fu movies, Feng Shui RPG, and our current Deadlands and "Savage Seas" games.
Episode 15 - Just in time for Halloween: a DEADLANDS Super Show! With a special TREAT: an interview with Deadlands/Savage Worlds designer "Savage" Shane Hensley of Pinnacle Entertainment Group and even a few more TRICKS we have up our sleeves!
Episode 14 - Gamin' Movie Extravaganza! We review movies about RPGs and those who play them, including "Life with the Dice Bag", "The Dungeons and Dragon Experience", and "Uber-Goober: a film about Gamers" featuring our interview with filmmaker Steve Metze, and more!
Episode 13 - Reviews of Spider-Man 2 and Hellboy, The Dark Dungeons Sorta-Guide to Gamin' Movies, our take on the story of Don Quixote, and the use of Music in gaming to set mood.
Episode 12 - Computer Games, Online RPGs, Neverwinter Nights, we discuss a controversial editorial in KODT magazine about including your Significant Other in your game, and a review of Savage Worlds game system.
Episode 11 - We review the Lord of the Rings RPG from Decipher games, and the "Sex and Gaming" controversy continues.
Episode 10 - Update on our CthulhuPulp campaign, and Honey gives her tips and techniques on how to create deep, engaging, unique player characters in ANY game system.
Episode 9 - Zombies!!! We discuss Zombie Survival Horror, The "Zombies" board game, All Flesh Must Be Eaten RPG, Zombie Movies, and review the remake of Dawn of the Dead.
Episode 8 - Further Explorations of all things Cthulhu. We discuss more of Lovecraft's stories. Also, the merits of running games for a Solo Player and why it works better in some genres.
Episode 7 - We describe our abortive attempts at Cthulhupunk... and discuss our new blending of all things Cthulhu with Pulp Adventure Fiction! CthulhuPulp is born!
